The English singer-songwriter James Morrison put down musical roots an afternoon in Aalborg when he planted tree number 90 in the Park of Music.
Visitors of the park can look forward to hearing a medley of the songs Broken Strings, Wonderful World and You Give Me Something, when they visit his tree.
James Morrison planted the tree only four days before Ernst Trillingsgaard, the founder of the Park of Music, retired as the CEO of Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center. Ernst Trillingsgaard therefore managed to arrange the planting of an impressive 90 singing trees in the park during his 35 years as the CEO.
- It is very cool to get my own tree. It is placed among legends, so I feel very privileged, James Morrison said after the tree planting.
