Parking
There are more than 700 parking spaces available around AKKC. The car park can be accessed from Vesterbro. There are ticket machines at the car park and in the multi-storey car park. Parking charge: DKK 8.00 per hour during the following periods.

Weekdays: 8AM-7PM
Saturdays: 8AM-4PM

Payment by card only. Disabled parking are situated at the main entrance to Scandic Aalborg City.

Ticket inspection and wardrobe
When attending performances and events in Aalborghallen, the audience must go through Fundamentet in the basement in order to have their tickets inspected. If you are physically disabled or have problems climbing the stairs, please notify our service personnel, who will usher you to another entrance. The basement provides access to both a staffed wardrobe which costs DKK 20.00 per jacked and a free wardrobe where any items of clothing will be stored at your own risk.

When attending performances and events in Europahallen, tickets are inspected in Europahallen’s foyer, where both staffed and free wardrobe are available.

When attending performances in Fakultetet there is a free cloakroom on the first floor, where items of clothing are stored at your own risk.

Arrive in good time
We urge our audience to arrive in good time. The doors will be closed as soon as the performance begins. The artists appearing on stage have the final word in deciding whether AKKC’s personnel may allow latecomers into the venue.

Refreshments during the interval
The bars open 1 hour prior to the start of the performance. Interval refreshments (beer, wine and soft drinks) can be ordered and paid for in the bars in the lobby and the foyer. Please note that there may be certain bars where debit or credit cards are not accepted. On certain evenings it will be possible to use the MobilePay smartphone payment app.

Toilets
From the foyer in Aalborghallen there is access to the toilets in the basement. Toilets in Europahallen are located in the basement by Europahallen, whilst there are disabled toilets in the lobby. Toilets for disabled persons are located in the lobby.

Introductions prior to opera and ballet performances
You can sign up for free introductions for all opera and ballet performances at the box office on tel. +45 9935 5566.

Disabled persons with a personal assistant
A personal assistant to a disabled person can attend a performance or event free of charge if they present their support person assistance card when buying the tickets. A maximum of 10 tickets per performance or event are available for personal assistant schemes, which means that these tickets may be sold out. The number of places available for wheelchairs is limited in compliance with instructions from the fire authorities. There may be certain external organisers who do not wish to provide this service. In the event of any doubt regarding personal assistants, please contact AKKC’s box office on tel. +45 9935 5566.

Borrow or buy opera glasses
Contact the Information with your ticket if you wish to borrow a free pair of opera glasses in connection with one of our performances. If the opera glasses are not returned after use, we will forward a bill of DKK 150.00 + DKK 100.00 administration fee after three days. NB: There are a limited number of opera glasses available.

If you wish to buy a pair of opera glasses, you can buy a Viewlux Pocket 8x21 at the ticket box for DKK 150.00.

Devices for people with hearing disabilities
If you use a hearing aid and have a receipt, you can borrow a receiver free of charge that can be connected to your hearing aid. The device can be used for events in Aalborghallen and Europahallen. Please contact the Information in the lobby. In order to utilise the loop system, the hearing aid must be equipped with a telecoil!

Defibrillators
Defibrillators are located at the Information in the lobby and outside on the balcony access by Kildeparken.

Smoking
As AKKC is a public building, smoking is prohibited throughout the building. This also applies to e-cigarettes. Smokers are kindly asked to smoke in the designated areas.

Mobile phones
Mobile phones must be kept in silent mode during all performances.
