AKKC in brief

With more than half a million guests attending Music & Theatre, Fairs & Exhibitions and Meetings & Congresses annually, Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is one of Scandinavia’s biggest and most flexible congress and culture centres. Additionally, we are proud to be the only event venue in Denmark certified in accordance with both DNV GL's 'Sustainable Development Goals Certification' and the international ISO 20121 standard for sustainable events.

Music & Theatre
Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center offers great experiences to suit all tastes. If you are a fan of stand-up, spectacular shows, pop or rock concerts, classical music, opera, ballet, theatre, musicals, revues or performances for children, then Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center has just the performance or show for you.

With more than 100 major Danish and international cultural events every year and no less than three stages, Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is one of Scandinavia’s biggest providers of culture. 

Fairs & Exhibitions
With an exhibition area of more than 7,000 square metres and a location in the heart of Aalborg, Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center is ideal for every type of fair and exhibition, ranging from small product presentations to major consumer fairs. 

Meetings & Congresses
We have years of experience in creating the perfect settings for major meetings, conferences and congresses attended by up to 2,414 participants, as well as hosting smaller meetings for just 10 people.

In addition to the two large halls, Aalborghallen and Europahallen, on the first floor of Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center you’ll find meeting rooms of various sizes – all light, attractive and spacious and of course all equipped with modern AV equipment.

All rooms have access to a common foyer, in which refreshments are served during the conference and where there’s a chance to stretch your legs and talk to other participants.

From Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center there’s direct access to the 4-star Scandic Aalborg City hotel and the restaurant in AKKC. Outside the centre you’ll find parking for 700 vehicles.

At Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center we do everything in our power to satisfy your needs and wishes, whilst at the same time guaranteeing a high level of service and a good experience for all our guests.

Sustainability & Hospitality
By obtaining the DNV-GL’s Sustainable Development Goals certificate, and the ISO 20121 for sustainable events certificate, we have committed ourselves to improve the sustainable handling of events and the sustainable management-system in the organization. Thus, we have created a hard-working department dedicated to the sustainable transformation.

Furthermore, we are determined to tell the story about Aalborg’s sustainable history, while supporting local efforts promoting the sustainable transformation in Aalborg.
