Fundamentet is located just below Aalborghallen, and this is where you pass by whenever you are heading to events in the house’s largest hall. Here, you have plenty of opportunities to use one of the many toilets or hang your coat in one of the many wardrobes.

When Fundamentet is not filled with excited audiences, the area is used for, among other things, exhibition space, lounge area, or even presentations – even though Fundamentet does not have a permanent stage, we can set one up faster than you can spell Fundamentet.

Fundamentet is furnished with lounge areas featuring sustainable furniture made from recycled materials by the social enterprise Råt & Godt, while the floor is covered with sustainable carpets produced from recycled plastic materials from discarded plastic bottles and fishing nets.
