Take a game of skittles or settle comfortably in the cozy lounge environment

You might not be aware of it, but AKKC hides a true treasure trove. In the basement, you will find the iconic skittle alleys divided into -1.05 Kegleloungen and -1.04 Keglepubben.

The rooms can be rented for parties, meetings, conferences, or other events, and they are ideal if you want to start or end an event in a cozy and fun way.

Skittle alleys are the predecessors to bowling, and they differ in that the alley is narrow and made of wood, just like the balls, which are also wooden and without holes for your fingers. Additionally, the points are manually kept using a chalkboard – so remember to keep an eye on each other so nobody cheats!

If you haven’t tried playing skittles, it’s a great opportunity for a fun and challenging experience.

In -1.05 Kegleloungen, the skittles are automatically reset, whereas in -1.04 Keglepubben, they have to be reset manually.

On the walls of -1.05 Kegleloungen, besides the scoreboard, there are posters illustrating some of Aalborg’s major and minor landmarks. So while you explore the noble art of playing skittles, you can also discover Aalborg.

If you wish to book this room for a meeting, it can be booked here, and if you wish to book it for gatherings and dining, the booking should be made via Restaurant AKKC by MEST.
