1.04 Fakultetet contains our third largest stage. The hall’s size of 180 square meters and seating for 224 people makes it ideal for smaller performances, presentations, lectures, or talks.
Does the hall’s setup with fixed rows of seats seem familiar? That might be because 1.04 Fakultetet was a functioning cinema from 1968 to 1981.
With 17 stage rigging points, the option to use a projector/screen, a good sound system with space for four wireless microphones (more can be added), access to four dressing rooms with showers and toilets, and a cozy, intimate atmosphere, the only limit to the experiences you can create is your imagination. As always, there is the option to get a whiteboard and flip chart.
1.04 Fakultetet has direct access to the open foyer area on Floor 1, where you can relax in the lounge area. This is also where you will find the delicious buffet area. We know that a great food experience enhances the feeling of a successful meeting. Therefore, it’s not just your brain that gets fed when you hold a meeting at AKKC. Your taste buds will also get an experience out of this world when Restaurant Podium creates the most delicious dishes, cakes, bread, and snacks – of course, with focus on sustainability.
At AKKC, we have named our many rooms after Aalborg’s famous landmarks. Aalborg University is known worldwide – among other things, for being the best engineering university in Europe and for being at the forefront of solving the global challenges defined by the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Therefore, we naturally had to have a hall dedicated to the university, and with an auditorium-style setup, 1.04 Fakultetet is the perfect choice.
As a rule, you have access to your room whenever you need it. We just need to know the time so the room is perfectly prepared for your arrival.
All our rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors are equipped with AV and video conferencing equipment, which is programmed for you to operate yourself as a guest. However, it’s also possible to book a technician at a fixed hourly rate for the time you require.
We are always available to assist our guests before, during, and after the meeting. This naturally applies to you when hosting an event in one of our rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.
If we’re not on-site, simply pick up the installed phone in the room, and you’ll be immediately connected with assistance.
To ensure the best facilities for our guests, we have permanently installed AV and video conferencing equipment, which includes a large screen projector/screen or TV screen, video conferencing equipment, and microphones in our larger rooms. There is also free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection to the speakers.
Outside each room on the 1st and 2nd floors, there is an option for electronic signage with text or logos, and your event will also be displayed on our screens in the foyer.
Additionally, it’s possible to purchase exposure on other screens as well.
The catering location for your event depends primarily on the catering option you’ve chosen. If you’ve selected our meeting package, most of the catering will be served from our delicious buffet area on the 1st floor.
If you’ve customized your own catering, it will be served outside the room.
Furthermore, we’re always open to discussing alternative solutions if you have specific preferences.
