Step into another time
You might not be aware of it, but AKKC hides a true treasure trove. In the basement, there are a variety of rooms that stand out a bit more than the others.
When you move down to the basement in AKKC, it’s like stepping into a time capsule.
Here you will find the rooms -1.01 Klosteret, -1.02 Snapsen, and -1.03 Gaden, which all share the characteristics of being decorated and furnished in a completely different way than our other meeting rooms – they are old-fashioned in a cool way!
Red carpets, chandeliers, old paintings, pictures, and old-fashioned furniture help create a very special atmosphere in these rooms.
The charming rooms exude history, inviting a very special kind of meeting or gathering.
These rooms do not have modern AV equipment, etc., so they are ideal for holding a more old-fashioned meeting, but there is, of course, the possibility of a large screen projector and screen in the rooms.
At the end of the hallway where the rooms are located, you will find -1.04 Keglepubben and -1.05 Kegleloungen.
At AKKC, we have named our many rooms after Aalborg’s famous landmarks. And what place is more iconic for Aalborg than Jomfru Ane Gade, or ‘Gaden’, as it is often referred to in everyday North Jutland speech. Jomfru Ane Gade is the gathering point for more than 20 restaurants, discos, and pubs, and it exudes energy and good times. It is therefore no coincidence that one of AKKC’s iconic rooms in the basement is named after ‘Gaden’.
If you wish to book this room for a meeting, it can be booked here, and if you wish to book it for gatherings and dining, the booking should be made via Restaurant AKKC by MEST.
