We look forward to
seeing you at AKKC!

Here you will find practical information
that might be useful to read before you visit us.

If you have purchased tickets for one of our events, you will receive a text message with a link to practical information a few days before the show. Remember to forward the information if you are attending with others. There may be some events that we do not organize ourselves, and therefore we do not send practical information texts.

Arrive early so you can sit back and be ready in the hall before the show starts and avoid stressing on your way to AKKC. The doors close precisely at the start of the performance, and who wants to be the one who arrives late and disturbs everyone else once the show has started?
No one does!

Directions

You will find AKKC at Europa Plads 4 in Aalborg – only 100 meters from both Aalborg Bus Terminal and Aalborg Station.

You can easily and conveniently take the bus or train and leave the car at home – this saves the environment a lot of CO2 and you avoid the hassle of finding a parking space. Talk about a win-win!

Travel for free by bus and train

If you have a ticket for a cultural event at AKKC between September 1st, 2024, and September 1st, 2025, you can travel to and from the show for free by bus and train in North Jutland.

Ticket check

Whether you prefer the old school paper tickets or the modern electronic version, it doesn’t matter to us – we accept both. However, you get an extra high-five if you show the ticket on your mobile. This saves the climate from CO2 and prevents the ticket from blowing away in the wind before you get inside. Isn’t that just great?

Cloakroom

It’s warm and impractical to carry your coat around when you are watching a show. If you need to store your fur coat, bag, or other items, we have space for it in our cloakroom.

In most cases, there will be both a paid cloakroom and a free unstaffed cloakroom.

Toilets

When you have to go, you have to go!

It’s always a good idea to visit the restroom before the show starts. This way, you avoid having crossed legs and watery eyes the entire evening.

You can hardly miss a toilet, no matter where you are in AKKC. If you still have trouble finding one, there is access to toilets from the Aalborghallen foyer in Fundamentet. Toilets in Europahallen are located in the basement or by the entrance to the right, and on the 1st floor, there are toilets along the aisle.

For our friends with additional needs, we have accessible toilets in the foyer.

Beverages

If you’re starting to feel thirsty, head to one of the bars. Here you will find plenty of cold drinks that suit every taste – both with and without alcohol.

There might be a rush for drinks, so if you want to avoid standing in queue and instead wants to feel like a true VIP, you can buy access to the NemPause area, where there are drinks and snacks ad libitum during the intermission. You can pre-order NemPause via Ticketmaster or via the link we send you with practical information. If you haven’t pre-ordered, you can buy access on the evening.

You can also avoid the queue by pre-ordering your intermission drinks upon arrival. Just scan the QR code, and the drinks will be ready for you at the QR bar when the intermission begins.

Theater binoculars

You can borrow a theater binocular for free so you can see even the smallest details on stage.

We have a limited number of binoculars, so be quick – and remember to return them after use.

Hearing impaired

If you need it, you can borrow a receiver that can be connected to your hearing aid if it is equipped with a telecoil. This is, of course, completely free because everyone deserves to have a good experience.

The receiver can be used at performances in both Aalborghallen and Europahallen.

If this is something you might need, just stop by the friendly staff at the Information desk before the performance begins.

Defibrillator

If necessary, a defibrillator can be found at the Information desk in the foyer and on the external corridor towards the park.

Smoking

The only smoke allowed indoors is from our smoke machines.

If you still need to “get some air,” please use the designated outdoor smoking areas.

Phones & photography

Let’s all save all the unforgettable moments in our hearts and keep the performance out of the digital world.
