Can I charge my electric car?

You arrive in style when you drive an electric car!

But it needs to be charged so you can get home again. Fortunately, there are two charging stations from Clever at the entrance to the parking garage at AKKC. Payment is made either via Clever’s app or contactless payment card.

Is AKKC located in a low emission zone?

The city center of Aalborg is a designated low emission zone, which means that AKKC is located in a low emission zone. Therefore, there are special requirements for diesel vehicles – trucks, buses, and vans – in the low emission zone, which you need to be aware of when you visit AKKC.

To drive in the low emission zone, vehicles must have an approved particulate filter installed, which many newer vehicles already have. But if you are one to drive around in a retro Aston Martin or zooming on your beloved blue Puch Maxi, then make sure they have had a particulate filter installed so we can be mindful of the environment. And you’ll also avoid spending money on a fine if you’re stopped by law enforcements.
