In the summer of 2011 the British singer planted his tree in Kildeparken before he went on stage in front of an enthusiastic audience in a lively and crowded Aalborghal.

And the British singer was in very good spirits when on the balcony he took the spade and planted his tree while he talked about the reason for his good mood.

Aalborg Symphony Orchestra was the best orchestra he had played with throughout the tour, and therefore they had finished the rehearsal early allowing Sting the time to plant the tree.
