General information
Fees
In Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre, it is possible
to buy tickets for performances that are arranged by us or by other
organizers. We charge the same fee as does the Danish
ticketmaster, BILLETnet.dk
Please note that, at present, you will be charged an
administration fee of DKK 20.
In advertisements, magazines and on akkc.dk, the price
of the ticket is stated including fee. For technical reasons,
the prices on BILLETnet.dk are shown without fees.
In case of cancellation, twe refund the price of the ticket
excluding the administration fee of DKK 20.
Parking
In the area around Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre,
you find more than 700 parking spaces that all are at your
disposal.
Entrance to the parking area is from the intersection at
Vesterbro.
Ticket machines are available at the parking spaces and in the
multi-storey car park. Fee: DKK 7.00 per hour that can be paid by
either credit card or cash.
Disabled parking spaces are available in the parking area in
front of the main entrance to Quality Hotel Aalborg, next to
Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre. The parking area is free
from Saturday 2 pm to Monday 8 am as well as on weekdays from 6 pm
to 8 pm.
Please arrive early
We encourage the audience to arrive early. The doors
close exactly when the performance begins and will not open until
the break.
Introduction before opera and ballet performances
You can sign up for introductions to all opera and ballet
performances. (Please note that introductions are in Danish) Sign
up for introduction at the box office on tel.: +459935 5566.
Interval refreshments and drinks
If you have spare time before the show, it is possible to
pre-order an interval refreshment or drink and avoid queues.
Ordered refreshments or drinks are marked with numbers and served
on the tables.
Bars open ½ hour before the performance starts. Refreshments or
drinks (wine, beer and soft drinks) can be ordered and paid in bars
in the hall and lobby. Note that credit cards are not accepted in
the bars, but an ATM is available in the lobby.
Late arrivals
The doors in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre close
at the time of the start of the performance. Latecomers will
not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
The artists on stage have the authority to decide whether or not
the staff is allowed to open the doors for late arrivals, wherefore
rules may vary from performance to performance.
Accessibility
Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre will do our utmost
to give everybody a good experiences. Therefore we also wish
to create the best conditions for wheelchair users and hearing and
visually impaired people.
Wheelchair users and members of the Danish Association of
the Blind (Dansk Blindesamfund) have the right to one free
ticket for a companion for one Aalborg Congress & Culture
Centre's own performances.
Lifts are available in the Centre.
Hearing loop system
If you are a hearing aid user, you can borrow a
free receiver at the Information Desk in the lobby.
Heart starters
In Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre there are two
heart starters. One is located near the Information Desk in the
lobby, the other is located in the Foyer closest to the
stage.
Cloakrooms
Cloakrooms are located in the basement of
Aalborghallen and in the lobby of Europahallen. Cloakrooms are
staffed one hour prior to the performance, and the price is DKK 20,
- per coat/jacket. All items are left at the owner's own
risk.
Toilets
There are several ladies and gents toilets in the
building. From the lobby there is easy access to the toilets
which can be found in the basement next to the cloakrooms.
There are also toilets in the basement of Europahallen.
Wheelchair accessible toilet is located in the lobby. It is
free to use the toilets.
Smoking
Since Aalborg Congress & Culture Center is a public
building, smoking is prohited inside the building. Guests wanting
to smoke are kindly asked to smoke in the designated
areas.
Cameras
Taking videos and photographs is strictly prohibited
during performances.
Mobile Phones
We kindly ask you to turn off your mobile phones during
performances.
